Steele Auto Group is one of Canada's most diversified automobile dealership groups, with 58 dealerships selling 29 brands and an employee base of over 2,300. Steele is the biggest dealership group in Atlantic Canada. They plan to expand further into Atlantic Canada and the United States, furthering their commitment to Canadian customers and welcoming new customers in the USA. 


Key Outcome

Data from 58 dealerships, coming from various sources is now amalgamated into a Snowflake data warehouse that makes the data available to prepare a consolidated income statement.

What was their key challenge?

Steele Auto Group needed to consolidate data from 58 dealerships each running its own tech stack made up of niche, industry-specific tools.  Finding a consulting firm with the willingness and expertise required to ingest and model data from so many different data sources would be critical to their success. 

How Infostrux helped

Using our Day-Zero with Snowflake approach, we analyzed the client's objectives. We planned the project to provide clear and open communication while taking a decidedly nimble approach that would respond to changing needs as the client learned about the technology.

Subsequently, our Zero-To-Dashboard offering accelerated the customer's path to demonstrating value with Snowflake and dbt.

Infostrux helped the customer design and implement an operational infrastructure that scaled their data ingestion and transformation processes.

As part of this engagement, Infostrux provided Steele Auto Group with the knowledge to continue to maintain and operate the data pipeline and data warehouse after hand-off.
